Operation Broadcast Hope
It's a one-day fund-raising event next Wednesday, September 7, to get aid for those devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
WBAY, WFRV and WLUK, along with radio stations from Cumulus Broadcasting, Midwest Communications and Woodward Radio Group, will broadcast live reports throughout the entire day on Wednesday, September 7, from specific fundraising locations in Northeast Wisconsin.
OPERATION BROADCAST HOPE; RELIEF FOR THE GULF COAST begins at 5am on September 7 on WBAY - TV 2, WFRV - CBS 5 and WLUK FOX 11.
Fundraising Locations:
- IHOP parking lot next to the Bay Park Square Mall on South Oneida Street in Green Bay.
- IHOP parking lot next to the Fox River Mall in Appleton.
- IHOP parking lot next to Highway 41 in Oshkosh.
- Woodward Radio Group will be live from Wal-Mart stores in Green Bay, Appleton and Oshkosh.
- Midwest Communication stations will be live from the IHOP locations listed above.
- Cellcom will also provide an 800 number for use with credit card donations.
What we need:
OPERATION BROADCAST HOPE; RELIEF FOR THE GULF COAST will accept monetary donations only. The Red Cross says financial contributions are most important.
